As cartoonists don't generally get out much I consider myself to be very fortunate to have been invited to Japan for two years to be a visiting professor at the Kyoto Seika Cartoon Facility. It was an extremely interesting and rewarding experiance culminating in an exhibition of my work, "Views of Japan", in central Kyoto. A well ordered society. Back to Nature I. A land of mountains and temples. Designed to the last detail, including the drainpipes. Unique to Japan and still popular. Back to Nature II.

Martin Honeysetts' cartoons and illustrations have appeared in many publications, including Punch, Private Eye, Radio Times, The Oldie, The Spectator, The Sunday Telegraph and The Observer. He has had several books published and has illustrated many others, both for children and adults, including `Bert Feggs Nasty Book' by Terry Jones and Michael Palin, `The Queen and I' by Sue Townsend and a series of books by the poet Ivor Cutler. Summer Hokkaido Fair 2014 @ Tampines Mall. Tampines Mall’s ninth Summer Hokkaido Fair is here! The fair is held at Tampines Mall, Level 1 and 2. 27 June to 6 July. As you can see from the photos, they have a wide array of Japanese food, ranging from exotic seafood to traditional snacks like (my fried favourite) Crab Cream Croquette. And even freshly prepared Ramen! So quick, give it a visit before it ends in a few days! Last year, 1 went with a team of NUS medicine students to Cambodia for Project Sabai.

As usual, there HAS to be some form of christmas decor (I have a huge christmas boner. Ok that sounds terrible), and since there wasn't much space it was just a centre piece this year.
