August 19, 2011. Over a month and a half ago we painted our master bedroom. I’m THAT late on house-y update posts. I guess I forgot, or was waiting to finish more of the room or something. In that time we were able to paint, make curtains, a pillow, and decorate a litte, but there is still much to be done. We loved the bones of this room the first time we saw it. It’s really big and gets great light but is also really dark when we want it to be. And here it is bare bones with our NEW BED! We are SO happy...

After saving up our money, becoming friends with a spreadsheet, and taking a leap of faith in May of 2011 we officially became home owners of this lovely little one-story in Flower Mound. It is our baby. I say that because it takes up most of our weekends and dinner conversations. We wouldn’t have it any other way. Each little update is just makes our nest more stable and comfortable. One Year of Homeownership and counting. June 20, 2012. It’s crazy to think we have been in our home for over a year now. Homeownership fits Marcelo and I well. We love seeing the projects come together and see a dream actualized. We are really proud of the safe little nest we have created for ourselves. All of the work, time, energy, and funds we have put in to making it ours has strengthened our relationship. I can only image how this house will change with each passing year. March 4, 2012. Last weekend we were sipping Piñas…. Laying in cabanas…. Walking on a beach…. And skipping around an all-inclusive beach front resort in Mexico. The trip was so enjoyable and full of sweet CHRISTIAN people. That’s right. I said Christian! Credera bases it’s company values on Christian principles such as humility and integrity. They company even tithed a sizable amount of their income to charities and causes near and dear to the employee’s hearts. This is unheard of at business events.

February 20, 2012. I took the “bad wife” award this Valentines day. I worked until 9pm. I hated it. I wasn’t able to reschedule with clients… too many pressing concerns.
