Thursday, 13 August 2009. Sunset in Lincoln City. Newport (and the best coffee EVER). The Pacific Northwest is FAR different than the East coast (I, myself, claim to be from the East). Everyone. Sunday, 27 March 2011. I am amazed at the changes that happen in one year. A year ago, Emily still needed lots of help at a playground. I had to stand close to her just in case I needed to lend a hand. Check her out now. Going down the largest slide at the park. The slide is a lot taller than the picture shows. I was nervous for her! Saturday, 25 September 2010. We are still going about 100 mph here in Florida. School is going a 1,000 better. I am so glad. I have heard from tons of teachers over the years that sometimes you have classes more challenging than others. I think this is my year. However, it keeps getting better each day. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. 10 on Tuesday: Why I love my husband. 1) He returned from a business trip with flowers this time (smart man). 2) He is a phenomenal Dad. 3) He can cook (really well). 4) The man knows how to clean (and he helps out on a regular basis). 5) After a 9 day TDY, he knows just how to bring a smile to my face (believe me, I wasn't smiling when he returned home a day late). 7) He makes me a better person. 8) He calms me down.

Monday, 14 February 2011. We took a trip to the USS Alabama battleship. Emily and I tried out the beds. We do not recommend! We have been super busy in Florida. It seems like between work, Emily's speech therapy, and dance classes that I have little time for any thing else.not to mention the sad commute. BOO to commute. Emily's speech is much better, but not like the majority of three year olds. She has mastered the f and g sound! School only has 3 more months! This white girl hopes to get a tan.
