Here is a re-cap of what took place here at the Makely's. All my shopping was finished on Black Friday. Christmas cards were printed and ready to go by the 1st. A few weeks ago in Sacrament meeting at church I was reminded of the timely counsel of President Kimball he repeatedly emphasised to grow our own gardens. "Get together with others and seek permission to use a vacant lot for a garden, or rent a plot of ground and grow your gardens.". Faith- Sunflowers and Cucumbers. Hope- Carrots and Cucumbers.

Soup of the Week - Cream of Something Easy. Anyway, what resulted was Herby Cream of Tomato-Mushroom. 1 can cream of mushroom soup. 1 can cream of tomato soup (my least favorite of the cream soups). 2 cans hot water. Half a small onion, chopped. Herbs and seasonings (I probably used mixed Italian herbs, garlic, celery salt and probably some other stuff).
