In fact, however, these rhythms are a reflection of reality and Afro-Peruvians have developed some of the most complex and lively forms that you are ever likely to encounter. At one point in the documentary, Huevito states that Afro-Peruvian percussion instruments are the cajón, cajita, quijada, zapateo, palmas.
