If I was her I probably would have drank the poison a long time ago. September 12, 2010 at 5:35 PM. In addition to Caras comment, the Nazis were truely monsters. Hitler was the worse though. How could you murder all of these innocent people! Im acutally surprised that Anja didnt commit suicide earlier than what she did.

Friday, October 15, 2010. From the novels read in this unit, Monster. Which deal with cultural identity, race and white privilege, there are many connections seen. The most obvious one is the power of white privilege and how the blacks are seen as bad or criminals and that they are inferior to whites. Stereotypes are seen within both novels as well. Zane Pinchback, also known as Incognegro. Zane Pinchback pretends that he’s white which can be seen as creating a controversial conversation. Many ...It goes...

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Hi I'm Nicole and I am a sophmore at Ship this year! By Jodi Picoult. I was interested in this book because I had heard from a friend that it was about a school shooting and since I am an Elementary Education major, it caught my attention. Thursday, November 4, 2010. They are people just the same. November 4, 2010 at 4:11 PM. I agree with the things you said about the Westboro Church. The biggest thing I think they shouldnt have done was try to force their beliefs on everyone else. You can say what you think is right, but when you start forcing it down others throats, then it becomes a huge problem! They really had no respect for others and anyone who was different in any way. Friday, October 8, 2010. October 9, 2010 at 5:17 PM. I also never thought that much about racial privelege until this unit. This is a topic that I think definitely needs to be discussed more. Your peronal story was pertty shocking to me and shows that racial issues are still alive even though some may think theyre not. October 9, 2010 at 9:15 PM. October 10, 2010 at 10:16 AM. Thursday, October 7, 2010. From reading all the different materials so far in this unit, the one thing that has really stood out to me was the role that upbringing plays regarding race. The video clips and questioning beliefs worksheet in class were really strong supports of this as well. They are obviously going to believe what is taught to them.
