December 19, 2012. Since I own and manage an online jewelry shop. I really try to get my work done before. The kids are up and going for the day. most of the time I actually do, but there are times when I don't finish everything on time, or quite frankly, I'm too tired to wake up earlier than they do, (which is between 7-8 am. so, you can't blame me, right? Dosen't help that I'm a night owl either). And especially during the holiday season, there's no way I can get it done that quickly. December 18, 2012.

April 23, 2012. My family came to visit us here in Denver! My bro Ben is recently engaged, so it was the first time we met his fiancee, Barbi. She is from Slovenia, and is great! We had so much fun together hanging out and doing a lot of fun activities around the area. Everyone loved playing with Austin too :). Candy shop in Old Town Littleton. Coloring in a spice shop. May 26, 2013. March was a busy month! At least for a while. I wish I knew some way I could make up for lost sleep. Here are some memories from March:. Checked out the library- they have some fun things for kids to do and play! Went to story time! Found some parks in the area- Austin found some monkey bars his height (uh oh). And Eli just sat around looking cute. Kiddos got some free stuffed animals for shopping at AFW. They don't look too thrilled here, not sure why ha ha. Played with some new friends :).

August 26, 2012. Welcome Eli Jensen Balli! So happy to have had a wonderful delivery and finally have him in my arms:) Eli was born at 8:10 pm on Tuesday, August 21st 2012, after a 10 hour labor. He was a surprisingly BIG boy, weighing 8 lbs 15 oz, and was 21 inches long- only 2 days overdue. So far, he has been a very pleasant baby, doesn't cry very much, and loves to eat. June 19, 2013. Poking Bad Guys in the Rain. When we were watering the flowers yesterday, which is now a favorite activity of ours, I couldn't stop giggling at Austin and Eli. Everything they do just makes me laugh- Austin was in his own little world playing one of his creative games of poking imaginary bad guys (I think? With grass blades. It was so intense in his mind that I couldn't resist pulling the camera out to capture the moment :). My other favorite moment of the evening? June 19, 2013 at 2:09 PM.

October 31, 2012. Eli was a lamb (or a polar bear? For Halloween. I remembered at the last minute. That I had this random outfit and realized it was perfect for his costume :). April 17, 2013. Austin and Eli love to play (and fight) together already! Every once in a while, we even catch them being sweet to each other. Russell got this cute moment of them looking out the front window:. We've been to home depot a few times since we moved in. seems there's always something you need. Good thing they have free popcorn and cotton candy every once in a while! We have absolutely loved grilling food since Russ' parents gave us their grill (thank you! Here's a shot of a lovely snowy day!

My most recently painted ‘Pompeiian Still life’ named after perusing Mary Beard’s book on ancient Rome, with its inclusion of 3 small but stunning images of wall paintings from Pompeii: has recently set me on a crazy spree of cadmium- red- saturated- compositions.
