Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter: Foi'atelolo
http://al-foo.blogspot.com/2008/04/foiatelolo.html
Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter. Tuesday, April 08, 2008. Calling a woman "fat" and "full of oil" is likely to earn a guy two tight slaps and plenty of disdain. Unless of cause, you are in Tonga. That's the place where any aspiring Cassanova can sweep a Tonga woman off her feet by saying to her: 'Foi'atelolo, ta ō mu'a mata māhina hopo! That means "O fat liver full of oil, let us go and watch the moonrise! Posted by Al @ 12:46 am. View my complete profile. Top on Alfoo's charts.

Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter. Saturday, August 04, 2007. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalms 46:10. What better way to do that than to spend the wee hours of Saturday morning with the cell in prayer. To seek God's face collectively, and to commit our personal and church needs into His loving hands. That was what the Lord lay on my heart a few months ago - the need for corporate intercession. Posted by Al @ 10:37 pm.

Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter
http://al-foo.blogspot.com/2008/04/cake-was-so-pretty-and-elaborately.html
Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter. Wednesday, April 02, 2008. The cake was so pretty and elaborately decorated that I couldn't bear to cut it. Football field, players, goal posts, palm trees and Liverpool flags. It ranks among the top-three most memorable B'day cakes I've ever had. The first was a Mickey Mouse one with choc ears during my childhood. The second - a key-shaped cake for my 21st, of which a piece was smashed right into my face. But birthdays are not just about cakes.

Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter. Wednesday, December 29, 2004. On biz and loving it! Man, now I know why people pay a bomb for business class. Besides the really cool, huge seats that can be adjusted in numerous ways, u also get a nice, cosy lounge to chill out during transit and prior to boarding. Sorry for sounding like a 'sua ku' (country bum), but it was my first time. heh. Did nothing much but sleep and sleep (cos the seat's so comfy! Now for the six-star Ritz-Carlton. Doha here I come.

http://al-foo.blogspot.com/2004_08_01_archive.html
Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter. Tuesday, August 31, 2004. Started off Sat with my maiden golf assignment at Seletar Country Club armed with the advice of my editor- 'When you get there and meet the GM, tell him you're a virgin when it comes to golf, and he will help you.'. Felt a little outta place initially, but the GM's hospitality was excellent! Well, I'm more interested in getting a tour of the beautiful 18-hole course though. Posted by Al @ 12:32 am. Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter: Wise Investment
http://al-foo.blogspot.com/2008/04/wise-investment.html
Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Global stocks have been in turmoil this year. But there is an investment that will pay far more returns than equities. Invest in wisdom, for Proverbs 3 says. 13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding,. 14 for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter: Gold Class Virgin
http://al-foo.blogspot.com/2008/04/gold-class-virgin.html
Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter. Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Watching a movie in a GV Gold Class cinema is definitely not worth $25. But I shall not complain, since I had free tics. Caught my maiden movie there recently, and it was a great experience. For $25, you get a fully reclinable massage chair-like seat, similar to that found in first-class airplane cabins. And in true airline fashion, it comes with a nice, comfy blanket. Definitely a luxury.Provided it's for free. Top on Alfoo's charts.

Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter: November 2004

Random Ramblings of a Reconditioned Reporter. Monday, November 29, 2004. Dad in Doha, Qatar. Mum at Shangri-La Hotel. Sis in the Philippines. Grandma at Bukit Panjang. Family apart, but the Lord's omnipresent. Posted by Al @ 1:16 pm. WHAT A GAME- Liverpool 2 Arsenal 1. It was one of those nights that will pass into Anfield forklore. Facing an Arsenal side with only 1 league defeat in their last 54, bereft of its top 2 strikers, Liverpool showed character, class and cohesion to brush the Gunners aside.
