Helen and Hugh's Hullabaloo. Hugh and Helen together – sort of. July 26, 2011. Dad has been at the Saanich Penninsula hospital now since last Friday. He’s now just down the hall and around the corner from mom. He’ll likely be in for a while yet. He is suffering from an infection in his foot which is causing acute delirium at the moment. We are hopeful that this will pass soon. For the moment he is not well enough to have visits with Mom unfortunately. We look forward to healthier times ahead for all!

Helen and Hugh's Hullabaloo. September 27, 2011. This is the view out Mom’s window onto the gorge waterway. The trestle bridge is part of the Galloping Goose Trail which is a network of bike/walking paths in Victoria and is also part of the Trans Canada Trail. At the far end of the bridge there is a plaque acknowledging the financial support for the trail that Mom and Dad have provided over many years! Further in the distance, and on a clearer day, Mom also sees the Olympic Mountains of Washingtion State.
