Saturday, September 30, 2006. Night of the Living Radio Star". A Pop Culture Exercise). Three music videos that involve the awesomely tasteless insertion of an actor playing a dead rock musician. Further proof that no one can dare to be quite as stupid as Devo. 1 Devo "R U Experienced" - Hendrix's coffin, the radioactive peace sign, Devo getting "high," no decade could hate the sixties more than the eighties and no band could make "R U Experienced" sound like a job interview, except Devo. To have been wh...

Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Hotly Contested Star Wars Trivia. Who stole the original plans for the Death Star? Not that anyone should know or care, but whatever internal consistency there was to the Star Wars universe has eroded just a little bit more - as you'll see by reading this Onion AV Club video game review and the two reader comments beneath it. Milkshake Busters: Carrot soup
http://drankyourmilkshake.blogspot.com/2012/07/carrot-soup.html
A place to get served. Monday, July 23, 2012. Summer is a particularly difficult season for me to fully enjoy food, whether it's cooking or eating ( Please see here as I complained almost exactly the same way a year ago to date. That being said, on a down day where my meat thermometer does not read 95 degrees in my kitchen, I will partake in some leisurely cooking, especially if it involves eating said product in a cool air-conditioned environment. To the soup (in a good way), and the cumin is vital into...

Milkshake Busters: July 2011
http://drankyourmilkshake.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
A place to get served. Friday, July 22, 2011. It's too hot to cook. What does everyone else do in the kitchen when it's literally over a 100 degrees? I do nothing. I barely even step in there. I am sweating as I sit in my air conditioned apartment, and the thought of turning on my oven makes me sick. I did promise my co-workers a chocolate pie. As a thank you this Monday for their help while I was on vacation. Minimal baking though. I mean, a ready made pie crust? Does that even count? I ate it anyway.

Milkshake Busters: June 2012

A place to get served. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Stew for a crew. This is the chicken thighs and reduced marinade. The whole concoction, simmering. I made a stew tonight that is beyond awesome. I dare say, bring two pairs of fat pants when you eat it, because you will surely soil the first pair. I'm a big believer of spicing in the moment. This is just what I had on hand and felt like adding, but spice however you feel! If I had it, I would have thrown in some parsley, chopped onion and maybe some celery.

In general, rapid shifts in data storage technology tend to give me cold chills. It scares me a bit to think that these punch cards used to mean something tangible to an (albeit limited) group of computer programming personnel. That said, I'm already freaking out about the shift from DVD to BluRay. Posted by "I Love you, Catmother! Adventures in Low Zip Codes.
