KrisKrafts: April 2009
http://kriskrafts.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 10, 2009. Simplicity 4282 another apron. I made this apron for my sister. For some reason I kept thinking of that movie Enchanted. When I was making it. You know the movie that has the main “princess” like character singing and cleaning with the help of rats and ahm roaches. I have to say I wasn’t very happy with it. It was the binding on it. It gave me fits. It kept bunching up on me. To keep in the theme of things here’s a picture of Dax and I at Epcot’s flower festival. Big Geek knit blog.

http://kriskrafts.blogspot.com/2010/06/top-ten-on-tuesday.html
Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Top ten on Tuesday. This weeks top ten is 10 Ways To Entertain a Child. My kids are getting a good bit older Dax is now 15 and Tyde 17, but most of these activities they have enjoyed for awhile now. 1 Beach, this is in the number one spot for a reason. We live about a block from the beach so we spend a lot of time there. 3 Visiting the library. My daughter enjoys library visits more than my son but there was a time when he enjoyed story book time as much as I did. Big Geek knit bl...

KrisKrafts: Gale's Art
http://kriskrafts.blogspot.com/2009/07/gales-art.html
Thursday, July 23, 2009. I hope everybody is having a great week. I'm at the end of my summer break. It's back to school/work for me on Monday. I still don't know what I'll be doing but until I hear otherwise I'm assuming I'll be in the library. I spun up 4 oz of Gale's Art merino roving in the proud peacock colorway. There is 385 yards of 2 ply here. I have another 4oz that I haven't spun yet. I think I will try and spin the next 4 oz thinner to get some socks out of them. Maybe. Cocoa Beach, Florida.

KrisKrafts: Hello
http://kriskrafts.blogspot.com/2010/06/hello.html
Friday, June 11, 2010. Is that an echo I hear? Sorry I’ve not been much of a blogger lately but things are starting to slow down around here. I haven’t been knitting or crafting as much over the last 9 months but I’m hoping to change that soon. For now I’ll post about a recipe we tried out. It’s a graham cracker recipe from smitten kitchen. We ended up using our new sheep cookie cutter we got at the Maryland sheep and wool festival. I told Dax we could make sheep smores with our sheep graham crackers.

KrisKrafts: September 2008
http://kriskrafts.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 21, 2008. Whenever I haven’t blogged for awhile it gets overwhelming on where to start at so I decided to do a summer knitting wrap up since fall is here. I did a lot of spinning this summer so I’m very pleased with that but my knitting…, well it didn’t live up to my expectations. I thought I had finished the sideways vest but after blocking it I noticed that one side was longer than the other. I kept thinking how could this be? Have a great week. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://kriskrafts.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 10, 2014. Found some Debbie Bliss yarn at a good price while at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, so I started looking for a project for it. I narrowed it down to two. Kerrera by Gudrun Johnston. Or Inggun by Elsebeth Lavold. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cocoa Beach, Florida. View my complete profile. Big Geek knit blog. Confessions of a Graveyard Gypsy. KrisKrafts: January 2009
http://kriskrafts.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Wow the weeks are going by just as fast as ever. I hope everybody else is able to keep up better then I have been able to. I had to put my silver belle to one side for now to work on these. I call this one the deranged tomato. This one I call the dripping mask. One of them has a little flap thingie. I'm not sure what to do with that. For those who are wondering, Rudy participated in the Disney marathon last weekend. Monday, January 05, 2009. A day of fishing. Rudy of course h...
