New Ship new Adventures. It was lovely to have our first visitor safely onboard, after our late night soaking getting from the dinghy to the boat, we looked forward to showing Sandra the delights of sailing. Our first plan- to spend the morning swimming off the boat after a leisurely breakfast- had to be abandoned as the weather forecast for our area gave force 5-6, strenghthening over the next few days to gale force 8! New Ship new Adventures. We found out that laptops don’t like red wine! Now we are back in the UK we have replaced the keyboard (wonders of ebay for 20 and You Tube for the knowledge! And now publish the post that should have gone out in Sept/ October. Pronounced Sichilia we are told. That will teach her! Old treadmasterstripped and epoxy sanded off.new treadmaster, nearly there, TaDahhhhhh. Any idea where these cables go? The sandy beach, only 15minutes walk away. Having spent so long confined to port, we were itching to keep moving whilst we had the chance, so arose early to set off for the next island- Lesvos. From Levitha we completed our crossing of the Cyclades, arriving in Leros and securing a stern to on the quay- we had made it to where we had sold our old boat Solon- time to pick up all the stuff we had left in the Apartmet that had housed us last summer.
