Things and stuff astronomy and life. Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Last night the skies over a lot of australia and new zealand glowed - the aurora australis. this photo was captured in perth, western australia by colin legg. You can also see the milky way shooting across the sky and the large magellanic cloud - a small irregular galaxy smudged just at the top of the red glowing gas. The southern hemisphere night sky is so lovely. That is an amazing shot! 3/19/15, 1:41 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

How we eat, what we grow, who we are. Feb 15, 2011. 8211; I can feel the vibration of my bees inside the first honey super of my hive. That’s a great sign! Today is the day my queen should begin laying eggs, at the rate of about 50 a day. She’s influenced by the length of sunlight. With some luck with the weather, this colony will have enough honey stores to survive until the nectar begins to flow. Interested in becoming a beekeeper? In New Paltz, NY.
