Living with the Kiwis

Living with the Kiwis. Thursday, June 13, 2013. I'm Still in New Zealand! At least I didn't let a whole year go by without an update.although I suppose it's getting pretty close! Life has been very busy, indeed! I've been in New Zealand for another year and a month now, time just goes by so quickly! However, lots of you will be happy to know (if you haven't heard already), Jacques and I are coming home for a 3 week visit Aug 10-30th! To fill you in a bit on what's happened in the past 10 months. Living with the Kiwis: 2012-07-22

http://livingwiththekiwis.blogspot.com/2012_07_22_archive.html

Living with the Kiwis. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Three weeks down and I get my first full weekend off this weekend :) though I haven't had to work a full one yet either.that will be 2 weekends from this one. Working with all the swimming and triathlon gear and talking to all the people who come into the store may just inspire me to get back into some swimming for some of the open water competitions. We'll see. Saturday, July 14, we went to soup night at Corelli's! We went back last Sunday as well! It was...

Living with the Kiwis. Sunday, June 17, 2012. Starting To Get Busy. A week ago was pretty uneventful, I had an annoying cold and spent lots of time at home waiting to hear back from places and getting rid of the cold. From there, I went to make dinner for another woman who lives alone in a small apartment in a sort of nursing home community. She was very nice and friendly as well, only pretty blind and hard of hearing. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 9 June - 16 June. 5 August - 12 August. 22 July - 29 July.

Living with the Kiwis. Sunday, May 27, 2012. Job Interviews and Busy Weekend. Wednesday night, we went to a pub quiz. Our team of 8 needed my America expertise on 3 questions in particular. I told them the baseball team that Moneyball was about, that Kentucky was the highlighted state on the map of the USA and that the city situated on Mount Royal was Montreal. We had a pretty good team in general and ended up coming 5th out of 16.not bad. In the afternoon, we went to watch some of a NZ Olympic Weightlif...

Living with the Kiwis: Port Douglas

http://livingwiththekiwis.blogspot.com/2012/07/port-douglas.html

Living with the Kiwis. Sunday, July 22, 2012. Our first tour was to the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. We were picked up from our backpackers at 7:45am and not returned until about 5:30. Our tour only had 8 people on it (that was the maximum) so it was very personal and informative. The first stop was Mossaman Gorge and then a boat trip down the river for some croc-spotting, where we saw some males, females and some babies! All in all, we had a fabulous trip and lovely weather! 9 June - 16 June.

Living with the Kings

Living with the Kings. Monday, May 13, 2013. Needless to say I have been waiting for along time to be able to do my daughters hair. As my friends can attest I have been practicing for many years. Today was the day that I was able to put a ponytail in Londyn's hair and it stayed. It looks so cute and it doesn't seem to bother her. I will see if it lasts until I pick her up from daycare! Happy Monday to all! Friday, May 10, 2013. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

Living with the Ladwigs

Monday, April 2, 2018. Spring Break and Madelyn's Birthday. Monday, March 12. Aaron took off on Monday and took the kids to the rodeo for the first day of Spring Break! Checking out the tractors. Bennett was in HEAVEN! He loves to climb on tractors! They went to the petting zoo. Bennett liked it at first, until a big goat came and took all of his food. Madelyn had zero interest in the petting zoo (like her mother) and this is what she was doing while Aaron and Bennett were feeding the animals! Madelyn wa...

Living with the land | My experiments with health foods

Living with the land. My experiments with health foods. 8211; I tried pear with agave nectar to ferment into a fruit enzyme, and the result was EXCELLENT. I left it out for four days, resulting in an enzyme that is akin to a very subtle white wine with fruity taste and scent. I can’t get enough of it;. 8211; I purchase A LOT of my stuff used to upkeep my health (emotionally and physically) from iHerb. Discount code is: TOH344.
