It had something to do with life somehow finding a way. All in all, it didn’t bode too well for him. He brooded. He sulked. He frowned. Finally, he thought. He thought hard. He had the answer. But there was just one problem. Amid the commotion, he stole another cookie from the table and ate it. He patted his tummy and fell asleep. Links to this post.

Now being published as a novel. Click the picture to find out more:. Thursday, November 18, 2010. The line keeps people from getting hurt. It differentiates us from animals. It keeps the social balance in check. It saves civilizations. It is also mostly a blur, often is hardly visible and is completely missed by people under influence. Despite all this, there exists a general consensus on what the line means. What the hell is the line? Mate, you have crossed the line. And then see how s/he fumbles with v...

In Perpetual Transition: September 2009
http://havenofullstops.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 05, 2009. Adho paru - Minnal. I have written over past few years about how I love to travel and meet people and how my work helps me with just that. I have not moved out of Bombay in close to 3 months. This is the longest period since I joined work where I have had no travel. Whenever she spotted a girl within 100m radius. So what if the girl was only 18. Sigh! Happened and NS, shedding all pretensions of professional conduct, stamped my leg. I was quite sure that the lady would h...

In Perpetual Transition: September 2010
http://havenofullstops.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 25, 2010. This has been the saddest experience of my life, as I was very close to my mom in spite of the distance. She was a loving and caring woman who loved life and people and it makes me very sad that she no longer will be able to enjoy the life she loved so much. I’m eager and happy to get on with work, knowing that all business problems always have a solution, which is not the case with health and life issues. This signs talk sounds so mumbo-jumbo, hocus-pocus right? A phenomeno...

Sunday, March 28, 2010. Change is in the Air. This blog has been silent for a while. It is not that there has been nothing to write about. It is just That, I was waiting for opportune time to convey it. So here goes. And we had gotten to know neighbours and other people around. We tried our best to renew the lease, but well, it wasn't to be. And thus began our house hunt. We are now quite thrilled with the apartment. It is a brand new two bedroom apartment, with new woodwork etc. It is on the 10t...I had...

Mystic Pizza: June 2012
http://unpredictable-mystic.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 06, 2012. Longish day at work. Hand is starting to hurt with the ergonomics of the new floor. Thankfully typing from the iPad doesn't hurt as much as typing from a laptop. R left for Scandinavia on holiday this evening. She's such a jolly kid that the floor is quieter without her. Alas, you know what you have only when it's gone. :-). Tuesday, June 05, 2012. Decent day at work. Lunch with a good friend, followed by chai and gossip. Evening celebrations at wine connection, robertso...My br...

Monday, June 06, 2011. I've come to realize more than ever before that I really lucked out with this marriage thing. Finding a feminist among men is tough enough, finding one to marry was just sheer luck. *kaala teeka*. And for now, hosting one of my dearest friends is keeping me oblivious to the world and happy. What else can a regular person ask for? Ps- to everyone who wrote in a kind word after that overwhelming last post, thanks. :-). Published with Blogger-droid v1.6.8. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Mystic Pizza: Life in 2012
http://unpredictable-mystic.blogspot.com/2012/05/life-in-2012.html
Thursday, May 31, 2012. That's how this year has been. More later, but for now, I hoped to give this writing thing another shot. There's enough to say even with how much I tell the people around me and write elsewhere, so for that and to sharpen my writing skills, I will come back here. Hopefully. Mystic Pizza: Food
http://unpredictable-mystic.blogspot.com/2012/06/food.html
Saturday, June 02, 2012. And my hand was in much less pain because he took over the most labor intensive tasks. At some point, the Penguin suggested I subscribe to food network and Asian food channel, and this marked a real turn around in the quality of my cooking. Pastas were more al dente, asparagus was blanched before cooking, basil was never chopped harshly and our eggs were now scrambled to near perfection. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
