Joni Stringfield's Art Blog: July 2007
http://jonis07art.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Here is my contribution to IF this week. Unfortunately, this painting doesn't have a lot to do with the moon, its more just an afterthought. But I wanted to post something on IF since its been so long and I'm afraid I don't have the time to finish an entire new painting. So this will have to work for now, maybe I will think of something more original next week:-). Saturday, July 21, 2007. Wow, I think this is the longest I've gone without posting! Joni Stringfield's Art Blog: IF Pretend
http://jonis07art.blogspot.com/2008/11/if-pretend.html
Monday, November 17, 2008. The topic for IF this week couldn't be more perfect for a children's book artist:-) No one is better at pretending than children! Here is an illustration from my book Circle of Three where the main character is PRETENDING to be in Hawaii. Great choice for the imagination, we'd all love to be in Hawaii even us non-children! November 17, 2008 at 12:47 PM. Did ya have to post that picture in NOVEMBER! Haha, just kidding. Your first book came out so well; I'm so proud of you! If an...

Joni Stringfield's Art Blog: April 2008
http://jonis07art.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 15, 2008. When I saw the word for IF this week, it reminded me of a painting in my new book and its about time that I post again! In this part of the book the main character is feeling very sad because she thinks that her friends have FAILed her. This book is really great for girls at the preadolescent stage. Remember being that age and trying to figure out who you were and always so worried what your peers would think of you? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Joni Stringfield's Art Blog.

Joni Stringfield's Art Blog: June 2007
http://jonis07art.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Here is my new submission for Illustration Friday. When I saw the word this week was suit, I had to do a penguin suit:-) I thought it would also be a good time to do some black/white work since I've been getting a few requests for it lately. Tuesday, June 5, 2007. The ghost in the book was blond and always wore a white dressing gown. I stuck true to that, but used my imagination for the three boys. Anyway, as I said, it was fun for me to do and I hope you like it!

Joni Stringfield's Art Blog: August 2007
http://jonis07art.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 24, 2007. I don't have anything new for IF this week, so I'm recycling:-) I did this illustration for Picture Bookies Showcase theme Time Out a couple of weeks ago. Being a nanny, I've always understood how much parents need their 'time outs' as well. It's funny how the same expression can have such a different meaning to an adult as it does to a child! Joni Stringfield's Art Blog: IF Wise
http://jonis07art.blogspot.com/2008/11/if-wise.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2008. I thought the topic this week for IF worked pretty well with my new book, Butterfly Kisses, since it has to do with the wisdom of grandparents and also the wisdom of little kids:-) It's amazing what you can learn from children! Wow, you do amazing work! It's nice to meet another children's book illustrator. November 11, 2008 at 12:41 PM. This is a cute idea. Grandparents are wise. :). November 11, 2008 at 7:06 PM. What an amazing piece of art! Wonderful and very true concept!

Saturday, January 26, 2008. IF Legends and Tales. This has definitely been a much longer break from blogging than I was planning on taking! But I am back, and it's my new years resolution to make sure I keep it up! We'll see how I do. I didn't have anything recent for IF's topic this week, so I'm posting an old painting from art school. Its hard to believe it's been over two years since I've graduated! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Joni Stringfield's Art Blog. Elizabeth O. Dulemba. Elizabeth O. Dulemba.
