I am collecting driftwood and shells and all kinds of sponges and coral. There are a lot of different shells to be found on the shore. Life's a beach in the Yucatan. Come on in. . Tuesday, 23 November 2010. Sunday was a warm day and we decided to go to the famous Xmatkuil fair very close to Merida. Vendors from all over Mexico are selling well. almost everything. There is a huge area for farm animals, there is a rodeo, dolphin show, circus and much more. Directions, take the periferico towards Cancun and take exit 50 (2 past Mulchechen II) go left and go straight ahead, you can't miss it. Cute puppies, prices are in Mexican pesos.

Life's a beach in the Yucatan. Come on in. . Sunday, 19 December 2010. A FAIRY TALE WORLD IN THE YUCATAN. Last week my son visited us from Florida, it was his first visit since 1 year and we were very excited to see him and our daughter in law. We decided to go to Cuzama. A 45 minutes drive from Merida. We went on a rail track with a horse pulling a cart over 9 km. We visited 3 cenotes. The last one was my favorite. Although hard to climb down, but worth every effort. Fyi: the price per cart is 200 pesos.
