Chai Applesauce Chocolate Chip Cake. 1 1/2 cups sugar. 1/2 tsp. salt. 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda. 1/2 tsp. cloves. 1 cup chocolate chips. Mix together all wet ingredients: oil, sugar, eggs, applesauce. Then mix in the rest of the ingredients. Pour in bundt pan and put in a pre-heated oven (375/177 degrees) for 55 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. April 25, 2010 at 3:17 pm.
