Leaving the House in THIS?!?: December 2010

http://leavingthehouseinthis.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

To Dress Outside the Box. I stepped into my closet this morning and randomly grabbed this shirt and this dress. There was not a lot of thought put into the selection. I was just trying to put a look together before my husband got home from work. (Staying in your pjs all day can lead to ridicule if one isn't careful.) When all of sudden, Bam. I fell in love with the pairing. Please excuse the blur, but I couldn't really pass up the "looking back" picture with copy like that now could I? Old Navy; Belt.

Leaving the House in THIS?!?: To Pretend

http://leavingthehouseinthis.blogspot.com/2011/04/to-pretend.html

I'm obsessed with tutus. There, I said it. Blame it on the fact that I grew up in a dance studio. But I think a tutu is about the most beautiful piece of clothing a woman could ever wear. Recently I've been trying on the trendy tutu-skirts like mad. Unfortunately, when I look in the mirror I always discover a 30 something woman who looks like she's playing dress up. It's pitiful. So you can imagine how excited I was to open my birthday gift from Lisa and find this skirt inside! Gap); Tutu-esque Skirt.

Leaving the House in THIS?!?: New in My Closet

http://leavingthehouseinthis.blogspot.com/2011/03/new-in-my-closet.html

New in My Closet. On Friday, six girlfriends and I spent three hours shopping in our brand new Forever 21. Here's what I brought home. I found this top in taupe. And plan to tie the sash in much less of a bow-in-my-belly-button kind of way. I had to get on the peacock bandwagon with these lovelies. I actually bought this top in " nude. Which is an ultra pale pink. It's beautiful but it might get returned because I'm not sure it works the rest of my closet. And the winner is:. Marie * * *. March 27, 2011 ...

Back to Life . . . A Little Vacation Sick | Missy Makes a Mess

https://missymakesmesses.wordpress.com/2011/01/17/back-to-life-a-little-vacation-sick

Missy Makes a Mess. When I grow up, I want to be an adult. Little Gifts For Little Folks. A-Thrifting We Will Go! Back to Life . . . A Little Vacation Sick. January 17, 2011. Missy Makes a Mess. About 18 months ago, I started writing lyrics for a song about my favorite city. One day, my talented song-writing hubby will set it to a melody. For now, it’s an appropriate project to post while I pull myself out of vacation sickness. From her alleys to her valleys, I love this place. About Missy Makes a Mess.

Mavalili: Day 4

http://mavalili.blogspot.com/2010/11/day-4.html

Thursday, November 11, 2010. I didn't want to wear this outfit this morning, but I had already penciled it onto my calendar so I made myself wear it. I'm not kidding you about the calendar. I'm a little obsessive when it comes to organization. Then I looked in the mirror and all of a sudden I was in love. I'm convinced these boots were the best investment I ever made. Paired with a belt in the same color of leather, they can make any outfit look good. Labels: 30 for 30. November 15, 2010 at 12:06 PM.
