A New Chapter: December 2010
http://californiadreamin22.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
A new start for our new family. Friday, December 3, 2010. I was thinking the other day how it is so funny that when you are little and you are asked how old you are you will always try and be a little older. You might say I'm four AND A HALF! Then as you get older you'd rather not say the half or even get older at all. Well we are celebrating that Cohen is A HALF! We had his six month checkup yesterday and the doctor said he is an all star.he's great! Weight: 16 lbs. 8.5 oz. (31%). Posted by Brad Jansen.

http://californiadreamin22.blogspot.com/2011/10/september-happenings.html
A new start for our new family. Sunday, October 2, 2011. It's definitely time for an update again. Let's see.since I last posted I turned another year older, Brad's football team is 5-0 (I'll try and get some pictures soon), Cohen is over 22 lbs., we went to the Arapahoe Homecoming parade, we visited Opa at his work when they were hosting a wine stomp, and Cohen peed in the potty! I know it was probably a one time thing but we still celebrated and made a BIG deal about it! Posted by Brad Jansen.

A New Chapter: Snow!
http://californiadreamin22.blogspot.com/2011/11/snow.html
A new start for our new family. Friday, November 11, 2011. I failed to mention in the last blog one of the biggest things that happened in October. All of the sudden Cohen just started to eat food.all kinds of food. We haven't had a 3rd stage baby food jar of meat in a couple of weeks! He is still a little fussy about the fruits (and vegetables) so we still eat the baby food once in a while but he is doing so well. He didn't dive into it or anything.just kind of walked around and checked it out. Awesome ...

I know that most of you have already read Cara's blog about Landon's birth, but I thought you might enjoy a proud Opa's insights from some of the behind the scenes of last week's "Birthday.". Here he is: I took this picture last Tuesday morning when he was only about 30 minutes old! Check out that hair! Auntie Abby" stayed the whole time to help welcome Landon to the family. Now that's a happy smile! And Barb, sor...

Reitsema Family Adventures: An Elephant Never Forgets
http://thatsreits.blogspot.com/2011/11/elephant-never-forgets.html
Tuesday, November 1, 2011. An Elephant Never Forgets. Our Lady Bug and Elephant cousins! Lia questions this strange tradition. However, if it involves a wagon ride, I’m In! Walking to knock on the door for our first treats. Lia put all her treats back in people’s candy bowls. I think she’d rather sort the candy at this point than eat it. November 7, 2011 at 9:49 PM. Hope we get to trick or treat together some day! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Our Extended Blogging Family. Will and Teresa Sage.

Reitsema Family Adventures: May 2011
http://thatsreits.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 9, 2011. Lia’s 1st Birthday! What a treat to have Lia’s birthday fall on Mother’s Day this year. We spent a lot of the day reminiscing about last year’s Mother’s Day being our very first full day as parents. A wonderful year began that day, and we look forward to many more in the future. To avoid leftover cake with no fridge space, we opted to craft a bouquet of cake balls! Lia had her own flower cupcake with green frosting, but the adults needed a taste of something sweet too. Ernie and Kim ...

Monday, December 26, 2011. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! What a delight to see Christmas through the eyes of a toddler. We had lots of "Whoa" and "Wow" and "Yea! And could not have felt more love. Christmas festivities were not even close to a "silent night"; however, the noise, the activity, the family, and the frenzy reminded us how grateful we are to have so many people that we love.
