Can't Stop Knitting: Fresh Start
http://cantstopknitting-lae.blogspot.com/2009/01/fresh-start.html
Because I Don't Want To! Thursday, January 1, 2009. Today dawned a new year with vivid blue skies and a very cold wind. I was up early to walk the dog and watched the dawn with blushes of pink to the sky. Hopefully this bodes well for the new year. I'm not one for resolutions but I will try and be more regular with my posting. It's hard to believe I last posted in October! My knitting has bee. N plentiful. Just a few pictures of finished projects since I was last here. January 1, 2009 at 4:52 PM.

Can't Stop Knitting: False Start
http://cantstopknitting-lae.blogspot.com/2008/08/false-start.html
Because I Don't Want To! Friday, August 8, 2008. No pictures. Alas I got bigger than my britches and decided to try and get in a few more rows. Yup, you guessed it. Screwed up, tinked back, dropped a few stitches. Now it's back to the begining. But a true athlete never gives up. Maybe tomorrow some pictures, including a lifeline! Follow so cruise on down the list of things that make me happy! I think it's finally here or at least very close. The grass is getting greener, leaves are starting to bud out and the weather has a hint of warmth to it. Yippee! Finished Objects ( FO's. The Meghan Shawl Collared Cardigan. And some socks which I think will be frogged.

Can't Stop Knitting: Ready, Set..........Knit
http://cantstopknitting-lae.blogspot.com/2008/08/ready-setknit.html
Because I Don't Want To! Friday, August 8, 2008. Ready, Set.Knit. Are you knitting for the Olympics yet? I cast on my lace Flower Basket Shawl this morning. I'm going to need all the cheers and support from the sidelines on this one. I'm a little cocky right now as I am up to row 20 without a lifeline. Only because I felt I had to bring it to work to cast on and forgot about the lifeline. So, should I continue or hold up until I get it home? Only time will tell. More later.I'm at work, remember!

Can't Stop Knitting: January 2008
http://cantstopknitting-lae.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Because I Don't Want To! Thursday, January 31, 2008. Look What Followed Me Home! Honestly, I just went into the fabric store for some cording and closures to finish off the bag. Honestly. But I got sidetracked in a big way, see-. Such pretty colors and patterns, almost as much fun as the yarn store! These bags are so quick to make. The hardest thing for me is cutting the fabric. I can't cut a straight line to save my life. I found the link for the tutorial here. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. But I packed ...

Can't Stop Knitting: July 2008
http://cantstopknitting-lae.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Because I Don't Want To! Monday, July 21, 2008. A quick post about my quick project. Last week found me looking for a new project. I wanted something fairly quick and easy. I had bought yarn at WEBS. For the Lucy Bag. Scroll down a bit to see the pattern)and I decided to give it a go. Nice easy project with great results. I started just a week ago and today it's sitting outside enjoying the sun and drying. I think this as well as some of the other patterns from Two Old Bags. Sunday, July 13, 2008. I coul...

Can't Stop Knitting: I Knew This Was A Bad Idea
http://cantstopknitting-lae.blogspot.com/2008/08/i-knew-this-was-bad-idea.html
Because I Don't Want To! Friday, August 15, 2008. I Knew This Was A Bad Idea. I'm usually not one for knitalongs or other types of knitting together. I like doing my own thing on my own time. Same reason I don't join a bookclub even though I love to read. So why oh why did I think joining the Olympic Knitting group was a good idea? And an even better question, just what was I thinking when I picked the Flower Basket Shawl in LACEWEIGHT? This is what I noticed today-. Can you see it? The leaves are starti...

New England Knitter: November 2013
http://neknitter.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Should be sleeping- but I'd rather be knitting! Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Fourth graders here are studying the regions of the United States. One thing they are doing is sending out a bear to travel the country collecting interesting information about where they visit. Above you will see Fudgie. He will be greatly missed while on his travels, but he is decked out is his Red Sox gear, so that is a consolation. Bon Voyage Fudge- looking forward to seeing you in the spring. New England Knitter: October 2014
http://neknitter.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Should be sleeping- but I'd rather be knitting! Monday, October 27, 2014. Ack- thought I'd get a post in before the year is over- sad I know. I will do a round up of the few projects I have worked on this year. But for now I was thinking of my wig. Six years ago (today) I posted a pattern for a wig. Though it hasn't been made all that many times (judging from what is posted on Ravelry) I just love the way it has been used. You can see some of my wigs, made by others, at the link below:.

Can't Stop Knitting: March 2008
http://cantstopknitting-lae.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Because I Don't Want To! Friday, March 21, 2008. Before I Was Interrupted. Finally, back among the almost recovered. The horrible sore throat is gone, the nasal congestion and cough are almost gone, and the exhaustion has departed. Time to knit. Despite the nasties I did manage to go to WEB's (any idea of what would stop a knitter from a planned trip there? I bought some Felted Tweed in a blue for a sweater for myself, some Buckingham (alpaca and silk, yummy) in a teal color for a Silk Smoke. In non knit...
