Knittin' Mom: Goodbye, 2010 - Hello, 2011!
http://knittinmom.blogspot.com/2010/12/goodbye-2010-hello-2011.html
Friday, December 31, 2010. Goodbye, 2010 - Hello, 2011! This has been a year marked by many things, including a horrible lack of blogging. Will 2011 be better? Here's what happened in 2010:. Sydney turned 7 and Owen turned 5 (weren't they newborns just yesterday? Bill and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with a weekend in Vegas. Our first niece was born, and Bill's grandfather passed away at age 99. I got my CSK. I cut my hair off! I traveled to London to teach at Knit Nation, which was one of t...
Knittin' Mom: October 2005
http://knittinmom.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2005. We survived our Halloween fest! Amazingly, everyone fit in our house and seemed to be having a good time (apart from Sydney, who was pretty darn crabby for some reason). I created a photo album. For anyone who wants to take a look. I'm going to try to tackle the first meme I got hit with, which was the 20 things. Since I already did my 100 things, I'm going to mix it up a little bit and see if I can do 20 things about my hubby. We'll see how well I know him! 20 things about Bill.
Knittin' Mom: Wha? Where did the last 10 days go!
http://knittinmom.blogspot.com/2010/02/wha-where-did-last-10-days-go.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Where did the last 10 days go! I think I've been too obsessed with Twitter. Lately. Not that I haven't spent plenty of time neglecting my blog in the past, but Twitter kind of lets me get my chattiness out of my system. Not much left over for poor blog. It has been an eventful week-and-a-half. My lovely girl turned 7 (can't hardly believe it! On the 20th. We celebrated by going to see the Harlem Globetrotters. I bought a new pair of ski boots (something that I've been using a...

The Stash Project: October 2006
http://sockit-to-me.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
An insane knitter desperately trying to use up her stash! Tuesday, October 10, 2006. These are from a kit from the sotmc. From a few months back. Cascade Fixation and pattern by Rebecca Perry. The ribbing on the first sock is a bit too loose as I was getting used to knitting with the elastic but once I figured it out it was fine. These are nice huggable socks. I love socks that hug and will definately use this yarn again. Thursday, October 05, 2006. Blanket and a Shawl. The mitred blanket is finished!
Tammy's Knitting Space: October 2006
http://tammysknitting.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 29, 2006. The winds they were a-blowing. Well, my weekend didn't turn out quite as I expected. As I mentioned in one of my earliers posts, my mother, me and my kids were going to take a trip to a farm Farmhouse Yarns, LLC. We decided after to do a little shopping, and stopped by the Saybrook Country Barn. I may have not turned out to be the day I intended, and I did not touch one hank of fiber, but it was a great day anyhow, spending it with my girls and my mom. I have lots of photos to s...

Although about two weeks ago the sudden urge to knit struck. I ordered yarn for the first time in months! Malabrigo Chunky, Paris Nights. Oh, and did you see?

Tuesday, February 08, 2011. Better late than never! This was supposed to be posted yesterday, February 7, on Charles Dickens' 199th birthday. However, yesterday I was dealing with calls from the assistant principal (the boy spent the afternoon in her office, bless him) while knitting furiously on a replacement Valencia. The original sample got lost in the mail last summer) and watching a Real Houswives of New York rerun marathon. So.in other words, I was busy with Very Important Stuff. And now back to ou...

Knitting and My family. Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Yay for cloth diapers! I love cloth diapers. Yes, they save you money and don't sit in landfills for 500 years but I really love them because they are cute! Everything else is an added bonus! We were using pre folds but I really didn't like the way they fit Sawyer, so I've been buying fitted diapers. They fit him so great and they are one sized so baby Stella can fit them too after the newborn stage! Those are just of the new diapers we have gotten! I've be...
