Monday, August 10, 2009. It's in the mail! Well, WIPs Wrestlemania got me motivated to finally finish my Master Knitter. I mailed it out this last week. Now it's simply anxiously waiting for 4 to 8 weeks for the results! That's one thick notebook! I'm so very happy that I finally finished it. I learned an enormous amount in the 1.5 years that I've been working on it. I can't wait to pass so that I can start on Level II! Keep your fingers crossed for me! I'll let you know as soon as I get my results!

Crazy, because I am a creature of the sun, rising early even on the weekends. I thought I’d do a quick review of 2013. I’m a sucker for lists after all. So here are a few of my highlights from the past year. The best book I read this year was The World According to Garp. Pub 2013) and Hal Higdon’s Marathon: The Ultimate Training Guide. Cardigan and Lacy Sweaters. Blankets, Scarves, and Booties. Frances has three older sisters who all learned to knit as young children. Being the youngest, she missed out on the knitting lessons. As she got older, her sister Jennie taught her how to knit. Frances was not as good as her sisters were and quickly lost interest, eventually losing all her knowledge of knitting. Jennie continued knitting and made beautiful sweaters, and Frances was always excited to receive her hand-me-downs.

Monday, February 11, 2008. Booties and toys in need of a good home. Perfect for a newborn . Sunday, February 10, 2008. I knit the beaded handbags using 1.25 mm needles! The tips are very sharp- beware! I get bored easily so I created the tops. The red bikini (top image) is mohair. The two bottom tops are cotton (and crocheted.) The beads feel great against skin. Now I just need to knit some shoes to match. I knit a sweater in the early 90s. Styles change so I tore it apart (gasp! View my complete profile.
