A blog by a knitting and reading obsessive! Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep. Posted in card making. So I am going to enter the TiddlyIinks challenge. With this card. I loved Janine’s card using the digistamp image For The Birds. And immediately thought of the song Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep. I haven’t stopped singing the song in my head since I thought of it! Change the banner, I’m a card making obsessive too! Enjoy the little things……… ». 7 thoughts on “ Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep. July 25, 2015 at 1:54 pm.

A blog by a knitting and reading obsessive! Enjoy the little things………. Posted in card making. I’m getting back into the swing of blogging, probably because I have things to show for my time. I’ve been card making again and entering some challenges – and guess what? I won one. Well I say won, it was a random number draw and my name came up but I’m claiming it as a win. It was the All Dressed Up July Facebook. My prize is to choose 3 images from the All Dressed Up Etsy store. But I can’t choose! You are c...

A blog by a knitting and reading obsessive! If friends were flowers………. Posted in card making. This is a random card with no-one in mind, I just liked the image and wanted to colour it. Again coloured with Copics, sorry I didn’t write down the colours. The backing papers were offcuts which I bought at Crab Apple Crafts in Frodsham. Again the sentiment was from a magazine freebie. Some of the magazines give great free gifts, like Creative Stamping. A card for Mark. All Dressed Up ». Enter your comment here.
A card for Mark | Knitsamadworld
https://knitsamadworld.wordpress.com/2015/08/04/a-card-for-mark
A blog by a knitting and reading obsessive! A card for Mark. Posted in card making. I have a Welsh friend who is two days older than me. We met when we were working together and have kept in touch since I left there 19 years ago! Anyway it is his birthday on Thursday so I have made this card for him……. The dragon image is from Bugaboo stamps. And the sentiment is a stamp which was free on a magazine. I drew in the faux stitching around the edge of the card to match it. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Sirdar book 398, "Roman Holiday". In town yesterday, I found myself looking for a pattern for a cardigan. I have needed a cream cardigan for quite some time and haven't done any knitting for months. knit's a living....
Or how I learned to stop worrying and love to knit. Sunday, March 7, 2010. Still not done…. I finished the socks, but have really surprised myself by making them too big. I blindly followed the instructions and didn’t consider how long my feet (or other average feet) actually are. Dumb. I am really getting my money’s worth out of this Happy Feet yarn (very nice, BTW). So this morning I will rip back one of the toes and re-do. Shouldn’t take long. Links to this post. Thursday, March 4, 2010. And the Colum...

Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Sometimes you plan out the perfect yarn for the perfect pattern, and the whole thing comes out as inspiring as a Hefty bag. Other times, an amazing project seams to materialize in your lap without any thanks to planning or forethought. This is a story of one of the latter experiences. In the Prism colorway. I did not want to take these pretty colors and splotch them all up in poorly planned pooling. On Ravelry, I like to browse patterns by what's Hot Right Now. Or what is g...
Knits and Ass | We have Boat Drinks.
We have Boat Drinks. About Knits and Ass. January 29, 2016. Well well. Have I really skipped the entire year of 2015 without posting once? You would think I would have something to show for it – more money, a new person in my life, another excellent hobby – but no. Just same old me doing the same old stuff. Not especially, if you look at the FOs – mittens, throws, lots of hats. But if you look at the yarn, my objective is clear: get. rid. of. all. that. fucking. yarn. Check out the new website on Debbie!
