Galloway Family: School News!
http://ccgalloway.blogspot.com/2009/02/school-news.html
Saturday, February 21, 2009. Caitlin was recognized by her principal for her straight A's and hard work. Our public schools in the area were being cut funding for the upcoming year. Alot of the schools got together to rally agaist the budget cuts. One of the mothers was a spokeperson for our cause and had some of the local TV stations come out. My oldest is standing behind her and was able to have a few minutes to her claim to fame. WE WERE CUT, AND CUT, AND CUT, TOO! CONGRATS TO YOUR DAUGHTER!

Uncle Bob's Blog: More on Christmas
http://robertlaycock.blogspot.com/2012/12/i-bought-and-put-out-our-apartments.html
Sunday, December 2, 2012. I bought and put out our apartment's first indoor Christmas decoration yesterday (I have to specify indoor because one of my roommates put a wreath on our front door the other day, thus claiming overall first decoration status). I went and bought a nice poinsettia to display in our living room. Marge: Homer, didn't you get any milk? All I see is eggnog. Homer: 'Tis the season, Marge! We only get 30 sweet, noggy days. Then the government takes it away again. Mature to the MAX.

Uncle Bob's Blog: November 2010
http://robertlaycock.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 7, 2010. Adventures on State Street. So, I had kind of an interesting experience last night, and you won't be surprised to hear that it has something to do with meat. However, it was nothing that I could have ever expected. And no, it had nothing to do with me dropping ribs on the ground, although I'm sure there were some ribs involved. Anyway, I should probably just get to the story. Fast food restaurant that was advertising 99 cent tostadas. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mature to the MAX.

http://ccgalloway.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 21, 2009. Nathan has been a delight and wonderful addition to our family. How time has flown by so quickly. He is one of the nicest, most sincere people you will ever meet. Nathan is pretty easy going but, does have some toughness to him if he needs it. One of the things most impressive about Nathan is that he is a good friend, everywhere Nathan goes he makes new friends. Alex loving the excitement and attention. Elisa, Daddy's little girl happy to have him by her side. Lots of love,.

Hirsche Happenins': Meeting David Archuleta!!!
http://hirschehappenins.blogspot.com/2009/02/what-surprise-from-church-pulpit-on.html
Wednesday, February 4, 2009. What a surprise from the church pulpit on Sunday when one of the counselor's announced that David Archuleta would be hosting a special stake youth fireside that evening. There were quite a few stunned looks on the faces of many girls as they tried to figure out if someone would joke from the podium :) - and no, it wasn't a trick to keep them from watching the Super Bowl! They got seats in the 2nd row with a straight shot view of the podium! Before the fireside started, Mirand...

http://hirschehappenins.blogspot.com/2009/04/ichetucknee-springs.html
Friday, April 10, 2009. Floating, Roasting and Freezing! It's spring break here so we took a short camping trip to Ichetucknee Springs! It's located about 30 miles northwest of Gainesville. We went with the Lund family and Ben and Joey Waters came as well. It was beautiful! The weather was originally supposed to be perfect but at the last minute the forecast changed! Although there was plenty of sunshine, the sun was deceiving! Both nights, the temperature was in the 40s and we froze our buns off! We FIN...

Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Super Silly Sea World! On Saturday, the weather was perfect - no sweating, which is a miracle for Florida :) - no lines, and TONS of laughing! The Shamu show was spectacular, the seals were a crack up, and we laughed our way through the day! If you come to visit in Florida, a trip to Sea World is definitely worth it! This is a pic of Jared and Caleb climbing on a HUGE net/playground they have at Sea World - it is a crazy contraption! Chase, Caleb, Miranda, Jared and Savanah!

Monday, May 4, 2009. Feliz Cumpleanos, Miranda! Happy 14th birthday to my beautiful daughter, Miranda Suzanne. She is the toast of the town, the rose among the thorns, the cat's meow, and a bright spot in my life! She brings enthusiasm, emotion and endless joy to me! Suey, you are aware of your great potential and your divine nature and you make me proud every single day! In Kindergarten, Miranda was "Max" in their class play, "Where the Wild Things Are.". Yes, she is "the most wild thing of all!
