Saturday, 6 February 2010. I wake feeling energised and full of ideas. My first day of freedom - no AV treatments hanging over my head. Yay! And what do I want to do? GO Shopping of course! Need a STAPLES but will have to make do with Premier stationery shop - which turns into really quite a disappointment. Thursday, 4 February 2010. Much excitement because today is one of THE court case hearings and Sr. M and I have been building up a lot of supporting documents. We saw the lawyer a few days ago and he says he will play it calmly and see what the other side has to say. Lawyer only affair we are told. Saturday, 13 February 2010. Still in Kanyakumari. Breakfast in the bazaar at a cheap and cheerful place recommended by our Rough Guide. We think we might try to gain access to the Kanya Hindu temple but give up - too many beggars and too many pilgrims queue barging. We notice another HUGE queue for the ferry and thank our lucky stars we did that yesterday. Decide to walk over to the massive Catholic Church and are slightly disappointed by its promise of external beauty and less than inspirational interior.
