A free standing or hung glass image of your home or a friend's could make an excellent and unique present. My property 'portraits' are cast in the kiln in low relief and I work from photographs. Because the work is only kiln fired once, these pieces are not expensive.

Knitted Wire & Beaded Jewellery. Beautiful crystal and semi-precious jewel beads are knitted into finely coloured wire and take the form of a collar. The pieces can then be moulded to the contours of the wearer’s neck and are extremely flattering. Usually these are made to match the colours of a ball gown or a wedding dress. Having grown up in the Shetland Islands, I studied at Edinburgh College of Art (ECA), I majored '60-'62 in Glass and Fashion. Glass then offered little employment for women, so my energies were directed into design, factory production and lecturing in the garment manufacturing arena. 1974 onwards, I lived and worked in Cyprus, Sudan and sometime in Nigeria until 1980 when I returned to study a UK post-graduate degree in business studies., following which,.
