Welcome to the Salvo Saints Junior Basketball Club website. We are based in the Sydenham/Hillside/Caroline Springs area in Melbournes northwest and have been established since 1995 with many kids passing through our doors some of who are now married and might even have their own kids playing. Is a basketball club. Primarily for junior players and was founded in February 1995 by Peter Harding and Andrew Clinch under the guidance of Cameron Wallace, with the philosophy Play Hard, Play Fair, Have Fun.

On the Sunday after the last home and away game of each season we hold an awards/presentation day. We have been doing this since the very first season well over 30 awards days. It is always held at the Brimbank City Salvation Army Church. Cnr Roseleigh Boulevard and Kings Road, Sydenham see map for directions. It costs you nothing to turn up and get your trophy as part of the team. We also run a free sausage sizzle for everyone that turns up just for being part of the Salvo Saints. Turn into Kings Road.

On January 27th 1995 Peter Harding and Andrew Clinch approached the Keilor Salvation Army to propose starting a junior basketball club for the community, and would they lend us some money! As both members of the Salvos the then ministers Cameron and Sue Wallace jumped in boots and all and the club was founded. Teams normally train on Wednesday or Thursday evenings at the venues shown below. Training costs are part of the registration fees paid each season so you don't have to turn up with money on the night.
