So I made some quick, easy fruit, an egg and toast, and a pumpkin pie. The pie is crochet, the rest is knit. The kids love it! They play with it all in their little kitchen. The replacement boxes of soap came mostly OK. Just 1 box was leaky all over. Crop dusters declared chemical warfare on us. Because of the duster helecopter, I have some major allergic reactions going on. Cloth diapers got washed. Whew! 7 loads of laundry is done! Almost ran out of gas going into town to get BLT fixins and pick up camp pictures.

After that, I watched a couple of old movies about early 1900's America. They had some wonderful cute hats! So I set out to make one of my own. Since it takes entirely too long to make a hat for my head, baby hats are easy. And I don't mind frogging a baby hat. I found this. With hats the same as in the movie. 1927ish style. I made a bunch of hats like that recently!

It might be a CrAzY life. But it's OUR life. Friday, August 05, 2011. Today was actually Friday. Up early to get 4 loads of laundry done. Eliza's bath aide came to give her a bath. 5 children fussed and whined about their shoes and their shorts (because they couldn't find them). Turns out the shoes were by the oven where they always are. And shorts were in the baskets of not-put-away clothes. Just like I told them they would be. Made little pizzas and left for the city. Grandma-Grandpa here we come!
