The world of KC3CDU. Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Many people in today’s day and age are starting to create what is known as ground stations for satellite usage. Today I’m going to be discussing the benefits of a ground station. Ground stations are often cheaper but first, let’s back up and explain what a ground station is. I would first like to point you over to The SatNOGS Project. As you can see, this has everything yet, it's still an earth station AKA, a ground station. See this as well.

The world of KC3CDU. Monday, December 1, 2014. One of my favourite things about amateur radio is The ARISS Project and our volunteer efforts as amateur radio operators. I love helping out with the project as there is so much to learn. I enjoy every minute of it. I knew i had to get my license. i have done just that and i love being able to track the international space station as a blind amateur radio operator this is actually quite simple. This page works well for tracking the international space station.

WA3NAN is an Amateur Radio Club, located at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre in Greenbelt, Maryland. i've got to say, it's a pretty cool club from what i know. anyway, WA3NAN usually starts broadcasting about 1 hour before the shuttle mission launch time. I believe you can go here. N-S and E-W Dipoles.
