http://breadwineandfamily.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Bread, Wine and Family. A blog about cooking, friendship, and other things that make life fun. Thursday, December 30, 2010. Great foods, lots of cooking, no pictures to be found. So, I don't like putting posts up without pictures, so here are a few gratuitous shot of family to make up for my lack of food photos. Over the last week I have cooked and baked and been generally speaking- happier than I've been in ages. Since May really. Half a stick of butter. Celery salt, pepper and salt to taste. So- tonigh...

Bread, Wine and Family. A blog about cooking, friendship, and other things that make life fun. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. So we haven't had empanadas in close to a year, and last week, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to try to make them myself. They weren't the same, but they were TOTALLY DELICIOUS! Here's an approximation of the recipe:. The Dough Recipe from About.com. 3 cups flour (plus a little more for kneading). 1/2 cup cold water. 2 In a separate bowl, mix together the 3 cups of flour and salt.

I’m in Love. You heard that right. I’m in love. I’m in love with Wegmans. Sunday night I went to the grand opening of the Wegmans in Malvern, PA, and I liked it so much, I’ve been back every single day since. Have you ever been to a Wegmans? Previously I had only been once after my friend, Ashley, would not shut up about how awesome it would be and how it would change my life. They sell 6-packs of beer. In PA, the law states that the only way you can purchase a 6-pack of beer (or Smirnoff, etc) is fr...

Just another WordPress.com site. Archive June, 2011. Fun fact: Bruce and I don’t have a microwave, so when we re-heat leftovers we have to do so in the oven, toaster oven or on the stove top. The key to stove top reheating is really keeping enough moisture in because a lot evaporates. I put olive oil in the pan before I started heating and then continue to stir in water as the spaghetti heated. And I only ever had the heat on medium-low! Have I mentioned I love my garden. All of the salad though. 🙂.
