Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Snow Day - Number five! The most beautiful snowfall. With nice big flakes. It's wet and nice to pack, just right for building a snowman or a snowball fight. We've had quite a bit of snow this winter. But it been the light fluffy type. This is Sandra's first experience buildin. G snow people. I haven't done it for awhile myself! It's good exercise. Sunday, April 5, 2009. Our Lenten theme for this Sunday was. I painted during most of the morning service. The scripture was Isaiah 53:6-9. As you scroll through the photos you will see the progression from start to conclusion. We served communion from the table in the foreground. Sunday, November 23, 2008. A garden project was launched to help provide food for Stansberry. When we arrived the land had been cleared for a garden site. The Ventrac tiller was used to prepare the soil. Fence posts were in place, without the fence. Everyone is interested in the project. One of three hydrants installed. This is a serious garden! As Kristi and Adam shared their "next step" (engagement) with us, present in the room, and others, calling long-distance, I was witness to joy without all that may attempt to restrain, constrain or strain it. Loh Mai Kai - Steamed Glutinous Chicken RIce. I have made this Loh Mai Kai for 2nd time and the 1st was failed, without giving up I tried 2nd time immediately the following day.
