A Day in the Life of the Formans: Trying new things....
http://clarkandlauraforman.blogspot.com/2013/02/trying-new-things.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. I know that many of you probably already do this with your kids and think, well duh, tv isn't good for them. And of course I know that, but it is so easy to get a rut and not really know how to get out of it. So for me and my family, this has been great! I love to see my children be creative and make obstacle courses on their own and to make up stories and read books together. February 28, 2013 at 10:09 PM. Can relate in SO many ways! February 28, 2013 at 10:18 PM. We are a f...

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Remember our home rearrange a few weeks ago? You can read about it here. Some friends have asked for pics of the boys' rooms, so here are a few:. This room used to be our bonus room. K's room was upstairs and is now our little girl's room. B's room was downstairs and is now the office. Yes, that is Drew Brees on the ceiling! The boys are really loving being in this big room together! We still have some work to do in my little girl's room, but here's a little peek. A Blog of My Own.

And then.Jack tripped and fell and I look over to see his mouth full of blood. Oh great.now my heart is racing.what do I do? Monday, May 9, 2011.

Life at our house: March 2012
http://vanessadolberry.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 19, 2012. I have hated this phone outlet since we moved in. I mean we haven't had a land line in about 5 years. I tried removing it when we painted the kitchen during our big makeover. But that wasn't going to work. The only thing I knew to do was to cover it. Because it sticks from the wall, I had to take that into account when searching for a solution. This is what I came up with. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Leave it to Weaver. A Day in the Life of the Formans. A Blog of My Own.

Life at our house: Christmas...finally!
http://vanessadolberry.blogspot.com/2012/02/christmasfinally.html
Wednesday, February 15, 2012. I just recently uploaded family pictures from Christmas. Sad, I know. My husband and I kept saying that this was the best Christmas we've had yet! I made a new Advent Calendar this year. Loved it. I put a verse and a piece of candy for each child in each cone. We went on our yearly family trip to Gatlinburg. It was a blast! Emma took this pic of her big brother while we were there. Oh my he is growing up way too fast! I don't think he sang a word. Leave it to Weaver.

Life at our house: Dining Room and Living Room Updates
http://vanessadolberry.blogspot.com/2011/02/dining-room-and-living-room-updates.html
Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Dining Room and Living Room Updates. One of the things I enjoy about blogging is sharing projects we have going on around the house. I know there are a gazillion houses out there way more beautiful than mine and there are even more people out there with more design skills than me. Having said that, who wants to redo something in your house and not show it to somebody? Blogging inspires me to get things checked off my list and hopefully a few others will be inspired along the way.

Life at our house: Family Night
http://vanessadolberry.blogspot.com/2010/09/family-night.html
Monday, September 13, 2010. It has plans for family nights all laid out for you. It is a really awesome tool to help bring your family closer to each other and God. So we decided to try one of them out. We chose to do the Back to school Family night, even though school has been in session for a month or so! I only had a day to pull together decorations. I just used stuff I had and a couple things from the dollar spot at Target. ( I will go ahead and apologize for the poor quality of the pics! A Day in th...

Life at our house: Before and After: Our progress so far on our house...
http://vanessadolberry.blogspot.com/2009/01/before-and-after-our-progress-so-far-on.html
Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Before and After: Our progress so far on our house. Kris built these panels to frame out the television and give some interest to the long wall. We needed a small desk for the kitchen. Being on a budget, I found this one at a thrift store for $15. After a little paint, stain and drawer pulls, it is perfect for our laptop! Besides paint, we added crown molding to the entire bottom floor. Kris and I have had fun making our house a home! The hero formerly known as super. January...

Life at our house: January 2012
http://vanessadolberry.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 25, 2012. So, I'm a. Late in posting about my girl's birthday, but better late than never, right? Emma loves American Girl dolls and since the closest store is about 5 hours away, we decided to make a little trip out of it. She invited a friend and we stayed in a hotel where they even provided accommodations for the dolls. They giggled, learned to braid hair and ate cookies and milk. The next day, we spent a few hours at the store and had brunch in the American Girl Bistro.
