Long Days, Short Years. When raising kids, the days are so long and the years are too short. Monday, November 10, 2008. What a crazy six months it has been! My sister, who also watched the girls while we were gone, told me the same thing and acted as my personal anti-anxiety cheerleader. Adrienne: Wonder if we both die (ie; tossed over board, knife fight in dark alley in Cabo, impaled by a marlin while snorkeling), and we leave the girls orphans? Adrienne: Wonder if this ends up like the Titanic? Novembe...

Long Days, Short Years. When raising kids, the days are so long and the years are too short. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. How did this happen? I was trolling through my spam emails the other day when I came across one about my kid being the winner in child modeling contest. I've never entered. My kids in a contest? My eyes nearly fell out of my head when I scrolled down and saw her…. That is not my kid.is it? I think that everyone has a twin out there, but this is. Posted by The Burtons. I don’t f...

Long Days, Short Years. When raising kids, the days are so long and the years are too short. Thursday, November 13, 2008. Only thing better than shoes. are free shoes! On Tuesday night I was invited by a lady in my ward to a private shoe viewing. Her brother-in-law is Jeffrey Campbell , the shoe designer, and they have a family run business. That usually sells their shoes through Nordstorms. I was like a kid in candy store. All I need now are cute outfits to wear with them all. Posted by The Burtons.

Don't Forget Your Courage". Wednesday, November 5, 2008. A Poem of Fabulosity. Oh, the FABULOSITY of my life! See this happy, smiling face of a high-school sophomore. Who only two hours before called his mother from the school,. Informing her that he had to have an edible representation of a cell. Due by third period. See the kitchen which is now covered with cake, frosting and chocolate pudding,. Which represents the nucleus - of course. See the happy, happy mother. The FABULOSITY of my life!

The Hatch Family: January 2010
http://hatchwildthings.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Don't Forget Your Courage". Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Snow day after day, after day. What makes the snow day more significant is the fact that school was to begin yesterday after our two-week Christmas Break. (I can call it Christmas break instead of Holiday break because here in Arkansas we don't have to be so politically correct - you can call things exactly what they are without worrying about offending anyone - and people here are not so easily offended.). Weather forecast for tomorrow? Invent some w...

The Hatch Family: September 2008
http://hatchwildthings.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Don't Forget Your Courage". Wednesday, September 3, 2008. My favorite picture - The Responsible Woman - by James Christenson. It has been interesting watching the media try to figure out what to do with the Republican VP pick, Sarah Palin. She is the mother of five, with conservative values, is not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for that which she believes and does not wear monochramatic pantsuits. I see her and she reminds me of most of the women that I know. We deserve some chocolate). Randy and...
