made in america: due date
http://patandkay.blogspot.com/2015/03/due-date.html
Friday, March 27, 2015. March 28. My due date. A day I have been waiting for since mid July. It's finally here. and thankfully, so is bub! He came 11 days early, thanks to my wonderful Dr. He opted to induce me early after I was dealing with severe pain for over 2 months, and was having difficulty walking. Turns out it is a condition they call SPD. Incredibly awful, but in the end it was more than worth it. Oh, in case you were wondering, Gunnar and I did get one last photo shoot in. Moments i talk about.

made in america: November 2013
http://patandkay.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 1, 2013. Since the Aussies don't share quite the same enthusiasm for Halloween as we do in America, we weren't really planning on trick or treating with Guns. I didn't even plan a costume. But in quick preparations for his party. We did run across some at a craft store, so we bought one on a whim. Captain America, what else? Turns out Gunnar was terrified of it, we couldn't even get it near him without him screaming. No big deal, since I didn't think he'd be in need of it anyways. So I j...

made in america: toby cat
http://patandkay.blogspot.com/2015/01/toby-cat.html
Sunday, January 4, 2015. But Toby wasn't all hunter. When we lived in MD he befriended a little chipmunk. You may not believe me, but this little guy would wait on our front porch until Toby was let out, and they would play together. Toby would mostly do the chasing, but he never hurt the chipmunk. In fact, one time, my mom (or maybe it was dad? Got in the middle of one of these games of tag, and the chipmunk scurried right up onto her (his? Shoulder and looked down at Toby as if to say "haha!

These guys are so awesome they deserved a page all to themselves. Our schipperke mix, born roughly in June 2007. He came to us as a stray from a shelter in Tennessee. He had been hit by a car, and suffered a broken leg. Now, he's our guard dog, and once you pass his approval, he will lick you to death. We would be lost without our "little captain". We love them so much, we planned our honeymoon based on the fact that we needed them to tag along. Want what we've got? Or see who is at your local shelter.

Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Our little booger has gone from a sweet, tiny baby. To a giant, crazy. We do plan on throwing him a party, we are just waiting on our shipment of household goods to arrive. Yes, STILL! It's been held up in customs since August 25. We are very much looking forward to good news that it will be on it's way soon. Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Moments i talk about. made in america: 8 months
http://patandkay.blogspot.com/2015/02/8-months.html
Monday, February 2, 2015. We also took Gunnar on his first camping trip, which included his first real lessons in fishing. He even caught the first fish of the trip! And he caught 2 in all, and if you ask him how big they were, he'll throw his arms out as wide as they can go. Typical fisherman. We also got to see lots of wild kangaroos. And since we went over the 2 hottest days this summer, there were lots of them jumping into the lake to cool off! Monday, February 02, 2015. Moments i talk about.

made in america: December 2014
http://patandkay.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 6, 2014. Today marks 24 weeks on Little Roo's pregnancy calendar, and that means a new belly photo with my big boy. I'm not a huge fan of this month's photo… But it's not really about me, is it? The highest of sweet and loving highs, and the lowest, most stubborn and whiny lows. Now I think it's time to join my little man in a nap. Until next month…. Saturday, December 06, 2014. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Moments i talk about. Looking for a moment? made in america: cinderella
http://patandkay.blogspot.com/2014/11/this-past-weekend-we-trekked-down-to.html
Sunday, November 23, 2014. This past weekend we trekked down to Canberra for another birthday ball hosted by the US Embassy. It was held at the National Arboretum, which was beautiful. And this year we were lucky enough to have friends join us so we actually knew other people there! They were totally the fairy godmothers to my Cinderella. However, the complications didn't end there! I finally got a taxi, and hopped in. I told the driver where I needed to go, and his response was "where? And I even made i...

Saturday, February 28, 2015. Yeah, me neither kid! But seriously, isn't that sweet? I love that little man. And here we are, in our latest (and hopefully last) photo shoot:. Also, you may notice our sign says 9 months, and no, today is not my due date. I still have a long 4 weeks to go. How does that work you ask? This past month was also exciting because Gunnar started swimming lessons! We got him a pair of goggles, but he prefers to go "au naturel". Saturday, February 28, 2015. Moments i talk about.
