July 19, 2016. July 19, 2016. During my first week at Abaana’s Hope, I met a sweet 11-year old girl named Winnie. We bonded over drawing, letting her braid my hair in church. And occasional hugs when I’d see her at the land. About a week ago, Winnie’s family invited me to visit their home so they could show their gratitude and this afternoon, we were able to go.
