They were pretty much the most amazing cupcakes I've ever made. Everything was made from scratch (well, that is, except for the Snickers bars), and I added a pinch of coarse salt on top for that salty sweet combo. Yep. They were awesome. So many people want to know about why I chose to come to YWAM in Slovakia, how much it costs, etc. Playing with the girls we were meeting. The summer of 2011 I returned home to work and reconnect with family. I returned to YWAM Slovakia as staff in Sept 2011 with my boyfriend Shay. At the beginning of November Slovaks celebrate All Saints Day and All Souls Day. So for a week or two before hand there was a market of flowers that people buy and put on their loved ones' graves. The close flowers are actually plastic. Eww. But these are all real! My photos are only this nice because I am using a gorillapod! Long exposures are probably my new favourite thing!

(make sure said room faces the street outside.). 2 release stupid, white, drunk, immature, disrespectful college kids into the street outside. wait for the yelling to commence. Monday, June 14, 2010. In the past several weeks. 1 Eaten an entire chocolate cake (yes, the entire. Thing), resulting in a trip to the emergency vet, which then resulted in two shaved front legs (for where they had to use IV's on him). 2 Gashed his eyebrow open on a picnic table at the dog park while he was rallying every single other dog to chase him (read: showing off. Typical). Just another hairless spot to match his poor leggies. He stiffened up and fell into the shower wall. I was freaking out.
