Musings: January 2012
http://musingsofsarah.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Like a bird on a wire. Thursday, January 5, 2012. In case my last post wasn't overly introspective (haha), I think I need to look back on the year. After reading other people's blogs so far this year, I am realizing how important it is to acknowledge what has been and to be cognizant of what can be. This year, I don't want to set resolutions but do want to set goals or things to work on.I find the word 'resolution' has some negative connotations, that's all. I want to get back into running. From runn...

http://musingsofsarah.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Like a bird on a wire. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. A beauteous wedding and some sibling time. As you can see, it was quite a solemn affair. The bridesmaids, Courtney and Mandy, all friends with Amanda since elementary school. I was quite taken with this chandelier and interior of this building. The superb bride and I. A good many of us. Some thistles by the side of the road. Alas, this is the best my camera could do. That about sums up my time. It was pretty sweet to get an earful of the Lanark County ...

http://manda-s-musings.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Well, it is now May 7th- so I am 40 weeks plus 3 days! It feels like we have been waiting forever for this little baby to come. Who knows? We may be waiting longer yet! Yesterday Hannah and I did a pretty brave thing for this time of my life. we went to BX Falls for a little hike! It was a beautiful day and Dr. Flanagan did tell me to go for a walk- so really I was just following orders. :). It was a little tricky walking down all those stairs with this tummy blocking my view.

http://manda-s-musings.blogspot.com/2014/05/40-weeks.html
Monday, May 5, 2014. So much has happened since my last post! We are in the process of signing papers for a townhouse here in Armstrong (possession date May 30th), and trying to find some wonderful people to rent our apartment in July. It really hasn't sunk in yet- maybe because we have to have a baby before we move and get this place ready for renters. We definitely have a lot going on! Oh and yes, it is May 5th and Baby Klassen has not made the great reveal! Ryan works one more night shift tonight, so ...

The Thomsens: Baby Pants from an Old Shirt
http://petermapledawnthomsen.blogspot.com/2013/04/baby-pants-from-old-shirt.html
Saturday, April 20, 2013. Baby Pants from an Old Shirt. One shirt - long sleeved knit, or sweater, sweatshirt. Piece of elastic - long enough for babies' waist. Cut the arms off the shirt. Find a pair of pants that fit baby. Use the inseam of the pants to gauge how far to cut the inseam into the sleeves. Add another inch or so on the top to leave room for folding it over. Mark the length with a pin (see photo). Cut down the inseam. Finish the top edge with a surger or zig zag stitch. Jesseca Van der Loop.
