Sunday, July 29, 2007. What day is it? Everyone (my mom and luke) keep on telling me about this crazy heat. Damn, it is rare I see the sun here. So much rain. Tuesday, September 25, 2007. I am watching Peter Mansbridge up North. I sure have a lot to learn from him and I sure miss the North. But, I am happy to be in Saskatchewan. I ran into Murray at Ohanlon's tonight. I was picking up some of that Sheperd's pie Jeff said was so good (it was very good! And there was Murray. Second time meeting him in Regina. I have been able to absorb myself in the activities of everyday and put my articles aside. Now it's showtime. Last night Luke and I went to a party at a pub for my programme. Monday, April 23, 2007. My mom told me my great uncle Henri died the other night. His wife tante Fernande, died a few months back. I knew tante Fernande but I don't remember oncle Henri. Mom said all he wanted was to die before tante Fernande. He asked tante Fernande to ask God to come and take him as quickly as possible. He just didn't want to live without her. Monday, March 05, 2007. I think my grandfather was right. We should all keep our money under our matress. A little charge here, a little charge there. It is not all that noticeable week to week. However month-to-month and year-to-year the bank can suck a lot of our hard earned money right out of our accounts. The Financial Times (FT) reports the Office of Fair Trading is expected to rule next week if penalty charges by banks are unlawful. Banks are quite concerned about what the compensation bill might be.
