Not to mention seeing them walk across the stage. But I’m an ocean away as my friends’ boys graduate from Roosevelt High School in Des Moines. It’s a big deal. Will and Henry Gunderson and Eli Dotson are their names. And now they’ve graduated from high school. Bright stars all. I have three stories to tell them.

You should not plan on getting beaten or robbed or stripped of your clothes as you make your way down that road to Trellis cafe. As for being left half dead on the side of the road, ignored by both a Levite and a priest? I only saw joggers pass, a friendly, waving group. Not a single Levite in sight. The boredom level is so dense it’s impenetrable — until the uniquely tragic blasts across our media. The recent shark attacks fit the bill perfectly. Two teens lose limbs in separate shark attacks at North Carolina beach. Wow. That got your attention. And such news also provides a public service. Look how many near misses we’ve had at Grays Lake this year alone. Apparently not Ashton Cross.

Sunday, 26 July 2015. A few days at Blacktoft hoping to see the monty's was not disappointing witnessing a good number of food passes all of which where at distance and out of reach of my camera ,however I did get a couple of shots of the female showing a little closer this time my one and only chance. This bird was causing a bit of a stir and turning a few heads a moulty white headed Ruff but it stood out from the rest. The Black-tailed Godwits were also in heavy moult but this one was quite presentable.
