Batch of '83, JIPMER. Welcome to the homepage of the batch of 1983. Having joined JIPMER in 1983; the members of this motley bunch spent an idyllic five-and-half years at Gorimedu and subsequently wandered off to various corners of the globe. This site was born on 12 December 1995 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It was subsequently expanded in early 1996 and underwent the most recent facelift in October, 1997. The current maintainer of this site is Shyam Visweswaran (aka Tiger).

The JIPMER Alumni Association (JAA) is the oldest alumni organization of Jipmerites and is located at the alma mater at Pondicherry.
