Monday, July 2, 2012. The bugs and lizards were everywhere, however. The first night Arin showered with a huge cockroach! Trisha and I then had to chase said cockroach out with a broom so we could use the restroom yuck! The lizards (tiny and medium) we found in many places in our room, so we kept things zipped up. Sunday, September 9, 2012. It really doesn't seem like 3 years since we left for China to bring home our Gabie! Really, it is as if he has always been with us, so I almost want to say, "Why is this a big deal? Well, it is an important part of Gabe's story. The reality is that he lived in China for 3.5 years before we were able to "gotcha" him. I can't wait until Mid March when we can say that he has been home longer than not! He came through surgery with flying colors. However, we were in the recovery room for 9 hours, because they were unable to find a room for him. Finally, at 9:30 pm we were in a room.
