The Sorensen School: Confessions of a Lazy Artist

Saturday, May 16, 2015. Confessions of a Lazy Artist. You can see some of her work and keep up with what she's doing here. Also, full disclosure, this woman is my very own mother. Artists are frequently seen as lazy, thoughtless and shiftless, because others cannot see into the vivid inner universe, which occupies their time. Since the inner world is so vivid and appealing, the outside world seems so harsh and brutal sometimes. On another occasion, I showed up at a job ready to sponge simple white clouds...

The Hannah Diaries: July 2011

Saturday, July 23, 2011. Friday, July 1, 2011. A few weeks ago I got to go to New York with my family. It was awesome. Our parents have been to New York several times before, but for Savannah, Zachary, and me, it was the first time. I'll be honest, I was a little intimidated by the idea of going to a huge city that seemed so rushed, but I loved New York. It was so much fun. We also got to take the Staten Island Ferry, which went right by the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We also got to go see where...

The Hannah Diaries: The Past Year and a Half
http://thehannahlyndiaries.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-past-year-and-half.html
Monday, December 2, 2013. The Past Year and a Half. So, I just remembered that once upon a time, I had a blog that I updated every so often with morsels of what's been going on in my life. And I realized that I haven't updated above-mentioned blog in a year and a half. I figured it's about time to try updating it. So here goes. In the summer of this year, we got to go to Puerto Rico, which was amazing. It's a gorgeous place. On our last night there, there were random fireworks, so we stopped and sat on t...

The Hannah Diaries: April 2011

Monday, April 25, 2011. Back in March, my roommates and I went to Festival of Colors. It's some kind of holiday for some other religion, but lots of BYU students go participate. It's really fun; you get to buy colored chalk powder and then you basically throw it at each other. It was a lot of fun. I did actually get some pictures. It had just snowed, so someone made a snowman. The snowman couldn't even escape the chalk powder. As we left, we could still see people throwing colored powder at each other.

The Hannah Diaries: February 2012
http://thehannahlyndiaries.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 1, 2012. So I'll really try not to sound like the teachers on Charlie Brown this time. I just thought I'd write about my classes. Overall, they're going well, but this is a semester of absolutes. I have my absolute favorite class that I've had so far, and I also have two classes that are probably some of my least favorites. So those are the classes that I'm taking this semester. I just hope that it goes well! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. My 8 Year Olds.
