The Incredible Shrinking Shrinks. Two Therapists Lose It. JERI: Off to an incredibly boring re-start. My struggle is and continues to be calories consumed. I don’t necessarily eat horribly unhealthy things, but I do eat way too much of whatever it is I do eat. I don’t necessarily know why, except I tease that our prayer at the dinner table when I was a kid was: In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, whoever eats the fastest gets the most. The Incredible Shrinking Shrinks. Two Therapists Lose It. JERI: What’s been happening…. My life has been wonderful in most respects. I’ve retired from my therapy job, but still teach it at Quincy University. My books are selling well. Number five will be out in June and I’m writing number six. My dog, Gus, and I do volunteer work at Blessing Hospital. And I’ve been cast as the Bird Woman and Miss Andrew in the QCT production of Mary Poppins. Obviously, my life is full. So is my plate. The food kind.
