Monday, November 5, 2012. Journey to Election Day, 2012. It’s been a long journey to tomorrow’s election. For the campaign workers. I was just a child when I first felt a spark of interest in political figures. I remember sitting in our family room, scooted up as close as I could get to one of the giant speakers on our stereo system (amazing to remember the size of those things now that we have it all on little bitty ipods! And listening to President Ronald Reagan in his debate against Walter Mondale.

http://onlythetitlepage.blogspot.com/2011/10/way-to-blessing.html
Only the Title Page. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. The Way to Blessing. A book I am re-reading in my devotional time (One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp) has a story I feel is worth sharing. A long time ago, a preacher named James H. McConkey asked a friend of his, a doctor, 'What is the exact significance of God's touching Jacob upon the sinew of the thigh? One Big Happy Family. Playin' in the puddle. Thursday, February 26, 2009. Josh and Jodi's reception - in Alaska. We had a little celebration for Josh and Jodi for all of the Alaskan friends who weren't able to get to their wedding. A. Gwen and U. Dwane had it in their garage. The Balster family and Judy Jones and others like DeeDee Duke, helped with the food. It was really nice. There were lots of people who came and celebrated with us. Jodi is just one of my favorite people ever! Links to this post.

One Big Happy Family. Playin' in the puddle. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. More from St. Mary's. Here is part of St. Mary's from the boat as we were pulling out to go fishing. One of the school buildings that Andrew and his company is working on is at the top, left of center in this picture. Drew was pushing us off so we could go fishing. A bald eagle watched us for a minute or two while we passed him. Isn't that just so pretty and serene-looking? Well, it was both pretty and serene! Links to this post.
