Monday, May 9, 2011. Wow, where has the time gone? When I prepared to leave for India, it seemed that study abroad would last for a very long time. Now, just a few months later, I wonder how it all went so quickly! That's right: I leave tomorrow for Minnesota. I visited a few last sites. I ate some last-minute favorite foods. My bags are filled with souvenirs and waiting to go to the airport in the morning. It all seems so surreal that I do not even know how to approach going home. Sunday, May 1, 2011.

We are having a quiet family evening at home tonight, which seems to be a perfect fit after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. No matter how hard I try to "get ahead" of things, there is always last minute things to do and then the special days just seem to fly by! They were all good, though. Our yearly trip to Arizona. The Family Fest outdoor concert in June. The garden on the porch - planted by our youngest. Yes, I did!
