Carolyn and Ryan Stubbs: Tales to Tell
http://ryanandcarolynstubbs.blogspot.com/2012/04/i-havent-posted-pictures-of-anything-in.html
Carolyn and Ryan Stubbs. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. I haven't posted pictures of anything in a long time. Stratton keeps me pretty busy so I don't have a lot of time to blog and so I've got a lot to show you guys:). He is now 7 months old and turning into a holy terror. He's been army crawling around since about 6 months so nothing is safe. Is that a camera? Can I taste it? Let me just lick it. Ryan let him try his orange soda. A few last things about Stratton without the pictures:. He is happy ALL THE TIM...

Carolyn and Ryan Stubbs: Definition of Insanity
http://ryanandcarolynstubbs.blogspot.com/2012/02/definition-of-insanity.html
Carolyn and Ryan Stubbs. Thursday, February 2, 2012. I thought I was just being too lazy to clean my car. So I think about this 'definition' all the time. There is a girl at the gym that needs to hear these little words of wisdom. I think she is paying $40 a month to read magazines. I don't know why I care, but it absolutely drives me crazy! Only I think my drawing might have more life in her expression. This girl looks like the Scarlett Pimpernel when he sneaks the prince out of the tower. It is probabl...

Erin's Paper Boats: must be a guy thing...
http://erin-paperboats.blogspot.com/2009/06/must-be-guy-thing.html
Folding up my thoughts and sending them out to you. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Must be a guy thing. I came home the other day to find that Dad had put the little boys to sleep-. There they were, just bouncing around the pasture, dead asleep like that. Looks to me like a perfectly comfortable place to take a snooze. You? That really is a priceless picture Erin! June 16, 2009 at 5:35 PM. Priceless was precisely my word as well:)! June 17, 2009 at 11:33 AM. Aw, how sweet! June 17, 2009 at 9:19 PM.

Erin's Paper Boats: October 2008
http://erin-paperboats.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Folding up my thoughts and sending them out to you. Monday, October 20, 2008. You know those “adult” bookstores you see advertised all up and down the highways all across the country? I’ve never actually been in one, but I’ve decided that they’re probably an allegory for adulthood itself. You always pass by them and wonder what’s in there, because they’re all covered with pictures of seductive eyes and pursed lips, and words like “adult toys! 8221; and “naughty fun! 8221; and so on. Keep out of reach.

Erin's Paper Boats: April 2009
http://erin-paperboats.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Folding up my thoughts and sending them out to you. Friday, April 17, 2009. Hug me, momma. In the quiet, pre-dawn gloom of my bedroom, someone slips into the empty space beside me in my bed. I sleepily wonder for a second who it is, and then I hear a whispered, “Hug me, Momma.” Ah. Samuel. I put my arms around him, heft him over to me, and snuggle in with him, wondering about this little soul. What is this, this desperate need to be loved? How can I tell him that he was the bald baby that I had to rememb...

Erin's Paper Boats: y'all come on go with us
http://erin-paperboats.blogspot.com/2009/06/yall-come-on-go-with-us.html
Folding up my thoughts and sending them out to you. Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Y'all come on go with us. You know that moment, when you're packing up your last things, standing in your empty not-your-house-anymore, and your friends come over to bid you goodbye? I hate that moment. Luckily for you and me, this is not. I am moving. But only from this blog to a bigger, better one. And you can all come with me. Please. I'll write you when I get there. Http:/ motherbird.squarespace.com/. Yall come on go with us.

Carolyn and Ryan Stubbs: January 2012
http://ryanandcarolynstubbs.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Carolyn and Ryan Stubbs. Thursday, January 26, 2012. This is NOT a happy post (and it's political) but it gets better. We just finished our taxes. And now you know why this is not a happy post. I'm not super savvy on all this taxing stuff so maybe someone can explain these things to me:. 1-We are technically in the 15% tax bracket. How do they end up with 30% of our total income? 2-We made a lot less money this past year and we had a baby, so why are we getting a smaller return? 5-Ryan has an employee th...

Erin's Paper Boats: eggs running out our ears
http://erin-paperboats.blogspot.com/2009/04/eggs-running-out-our-ears.html
Folding up my thoughts and sending them out to you. Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Eggs running out our ears. A couple of years ago we bought four chickens. They started laying eggs, and they were lovely eggs, and that was a great deal of fun. But then a dog killed one of them, and we only had three chickens, and three chickens lay about two eggs a day. There are six of us, and sometimes we just didn't have enough eggs. I dunno, might be an easier life.). At any rate, we can't eat all these. You want some?
