The Blogging Affairs Desk. When It’s Good, It’s Good, When It’s BAD, It’s Better…. What You Need to Know. Best of The BAD: NYC 101. As a former NYer, who literally had to eat cat food off of crackers for sustenance at one point, I thought I’d inject my feelings on the article, which was originally title “Surviving NYC”. So here it is, rebroadcast for your enjoyment. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go give my wife the wake up pipe. I don’t know where to begin. It’s almost adorable, the naivety. The sec...

General mumblings about life as seen through the rosie speckled glass of our current accommodations. Oh, wait, those are ladybugs. Wednesday, September 19, 2007. He lives in the Colorado house. Well, a picture of him anyway. The waitress came up to the paper covered table (crayons were of course provided), wrote her name upside down and facing us on the paper while simultaneously introducing herself, pouring olive oil in a dish, and describing the specials. Impressive. Wednesday, September 19, 2007.

General mumblings about life as seen through the rosie speckled glass of our current accommodations. Oh, wait, those are ladybugs. Monday, October 20, 2008. Back in the saddle. You can take a boy out of the pedicab business, but you can't take the pedicab business out of the boy. This year, Ptown Pedicabs. Participated in the annual Wellfleet Oysterfest. And Randy made a guest driver appearance on Sunday. Here he is about to give a ride to Martha of the Left Bank Gallery. And the Wellfleet Beachcomber.

General mumblings about life as seen through the rosie speckled glass of our current accommodations. Oh, wait, those are ladybugs. Wednesday, February 6, 2008. At last, a blogging breakthrough. A few days ago, I was tagged. By my friend Susan who always looks out for me and makes sure I am included. I have a fear of not being included. Indeed of being Left Out Completely. Before your first blogiversary. What's that? So here I go with the necessary steps of being tagged. First, here are the rules:. Is thi...

General mumblings about life as seen through the rosie speckled glass of our current accommodations. Oh, wait, those are ladybugs. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Tag, i'm it - again? After not posting for some time, perhaps now that I have been tagged (again I might add), there is now some incentive for putting my life back out on the open road as it were. Susan has put the challenge out for 6 random things about myself. Random? Is anything I do random? How Virgo would that be? PS: Last random thing? Have we ...

General mumblings about life as seen through the rosie speckled glass of our current accommodations. Oh, wait, those are ladybugs. Saturday, November 17, 2007. What is it about coffee shops? On any given weekday you can go into any given coffee shop anywhere and see dozens of people milling about, casually sipping and eating and reading and it's freakin. Noon on a Tuesday and you're like, don't these people work? Don't they have jobs? They can't all be students and trustafarians. Friends, working on my w...

General mumblings about life as seen through the rosie speckled glass of our current accommodations. Oh, wait, those are ladybugs. Saturday, August 30, 2008. Of course, no matter what the financial situation seems to be, few of them actually say the word please. In fact, out of the first 20 customers yesterday, only one said please. Disappointing. But on to the story. Back to the couple. While making his final bookmark selection, the husband mentioned going to Tim's Used Books. In Ptown. So I comment...

General mumblings about life as seen through the rosie speckled glass of our current accommodations. Oh, wait, those are ladybugs. Saturday, May 17, 2008. On a sunny spring day in colorado springs. If you ever get a chance to visit Colorado Springs, make a point of going to the Garden of the Gods. Nature is truly amazing. You may even get to see future Olympic champions (or wishful hopefuls anyway) racing around the Olympic Training Center's Velodrome. Saturday, May 17, 2008. Friday, May 16, 2008. Employ...
