Monday, December 21, 2009. Dance and Piano Recital. On Dec. 10th Kyah had her very first dance recital. She looked like such a big girl and was so very cute! She loved taking dance this fall. The weather was cool, the trees smelled beautiful and the tin foil dinners tasted delicious. Here is a pic of Zach with his cousins Hardy and Berlin. There is nothing better to these kids then exploring the out doors and getting as dirty as possible. My sister Clare is taking a hack at this log. We spent a lot of time looking for fire wood.

Chavakali is a very small town located about 6 hours from Nairobi in western Kenya almost to the Uganda border. These are some of the residence buildings, there are 9 total. Most rooms have a balcony! We love sitting out on ours to get fresh air. It was fun, Tyler opted out because he wanted his friend (who-is-a-girl) next door to come and it was just too late, so he was protesting. You can tell who had the most fun. My little runway girl, Lily. She LOVES to pose and get her sassy on! I think Brooklyn might have felt too old and just had fun with Ava, who got into it just as much as the girls.
