What a glorious weekend we had up in Ithaca and the Cayuga Wine Trail's Wine and Herb Fest! My favorite barn is tilting just a little more than our last visit. PJ and I at King Ferry. We took a drive to Seneca Lake. always pretty. Matt from Knapp Winery. He has stories about anything and everything but always manages to captivate an audience. Cayuga Ridge and Thirsty Owl Wineries.

My thoughts. My family. My hobbies. and everything else that I feel like adding. Monday, October 10, 2011. Migration of the Monarchs. Yesterday we went down to the beach. We went with the intention of capturing some great photo opps of the Monarch Butterflies that stop there on their migration to Mexico. Last year a friend said she saw a ton. Well we weren't so lucky. I saw 3 in a tree and 2 in the sand. Maybe they left before we got there! We were on our way to the beach so this worked out beautifully!

I loved this idea. with seating on both sides. Then we went Letterboxing. This letterbox was called "ITHACA BEER COMPANY". This ring I thought was beautiful but soooo small. It's 14K gold and I would think real diamonds. Then there were these 3 wedding rings, all 14K gold. They were HEAVY! This was really ugly, but it's 18K gold and I would assume real diamonds. This was 14K with a diamond. They're PJ's Grandparents rings! Friday, January 28, 2011.

For wounded Vets, in Long Beach on the boardwalk. I can't believe that they didn't cancel the race. It was already in the mid 90's when it was starting. at 8AM! Her friend Craig joined her. They made their shirts yesterday! 30 seconds before the start. everyone starts their stop watches/timers. We looked towards the beach to see this group!

It was the Blizzard of 2010 and it dumped approx 12.5" of snow here! It started yesterday around 1:00 PM. Looking out my front door! He put it in the garden. Notice the shorts and NO shoes! Looking out my front window. It was so windy last night (60-70MPH) that there were drifts all over the place. I guess it's high time we got out to shovel!
